The complete main stand has been removed, as it's not needed!

Any problems en route and the bike can either be lifted up on rocks/wood or anything else to hand! or simply unloaded and lay it on it's side?

This gives an approx. 6kg weight saving, plus it also gives a bit more room underneath, for a sump/exhaust guard to be fitted later.

Not planning to do much off road riding, if at all possible, but there will be numerous unavoidable rough sections out there ,lol.

The sump/plug/oil filter & exhaust downpipes, are all a bit vulnerable to any nasty rocks/logs etc. so I have fitted a home made sump guard, made from a couple of strong steel brackets, with a decent thickness alloy plate (free - off an old welding plant cover courtesy of www.crockerbros.co.uk and mounted at the rear bracket, to the holes where the main stand used to be.

Not a lot of ground clearance, but the best i'm going to get I think?
