A small screen was needed (to keep big bugs etc. from going down my neck!) so a screen off an old sports bike was found lying around (not sure what it's off - maybe a Suzuki TL1000r)  but when turned upside down... it does the job nicely.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Having ridden few miles on CB500's, it's obviously a comfortable bike and seating position, but……………….. this is an exceptionally long trip, many miles of saddle soreness and the difference this Airhawk Gel Comfort seat pad makes is amazing!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It has a small valve, hidden away inside, which you just inflate with your own breath, up to the firmness that suits you!  And without it, numb bum sets in at around 120 miles.  With it fitted, the comfort range increases to around 300 - 400 miles.  Amazing !!!

 

I would recommend one to anybody thinking about something like this.  Yes – expensive, but well worth it.
