First thing done was to fit the (Specially built) Hagon shocks, salvaged from my old machine. They were built by www.hagon-shocks.co.uk with springs 20kg stronger than standard and again, they performed admirably on the last trip so why change?

A new chain and sprockets fitted (I have also fitted a 15t (1 tooth up from std.) front sprocket, & a 40t (2 down from std.) rear, to try and improve fuel economy, even more than the normal (around 55mpg), the target being as near to 80mpg as possible!

This will be achieved by a number of things.....
1- being a well tuned engine
 2- weight loss where possible
3- Judicious use of the throttle (the main factor, in my opinion)
 4- Gearing (see sprockets)
 5- Speed (see no. 3))
